Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the smoothing of service depending on a relay line by monitoring the error status of the relay line periodically and selecting the relay line while avoiding a line with many errors. CONSTITUTION:Relay lines 100-102 are connected to a packet exchange 1. Furthermore, the exchange 1 is provided with a memory which stores error status data of each of the lines 100-102. In the case of selecting one line among plural terminal lines having an interface in compliance with the international recommendations X.75, the exchange 1 monitors the error status of the lines 100-102 periodically. Then the quality of line is judged by the error count in the memory and its preceding ratio till calls of the lines 100-102 selected by a relay line quality check are connected. Thus, any line having many errors in the lines 100-102 is avoided and the sound lines are selected, and the dispersion in the line quality is smoothed.

る。その結果、中継回線の品質が中継回線ごとに異なり
選択された中継回線によるサービスの平滑化が保たれな
い問題があった。
