Recently, windows have been made to have a double layer structure to prevent cold air from entering through the windows and preventing warm air from escaping. However, double glass and double sash shoji screens are expensive, are a financial burden, and are not easy to install, making it impossible to attach them to existing windows as needed.

Therefore, the present invention utilizes the screen rails installed on existing windows to easily fit a large number of miniaturized auxiliary shoji to create a double structure window, and after the winter season, the auxiliary shoji can be removed. It is intended to replace the original window shoji. That is, the double window shoji of the present invention has the following four types (a) to (d) on the screen rail of the window frame, the width of which is less than half of the width of the existing single window shoji. It was fitted using auxiliary shoji.

Next, the operation of the present invention will be explained based on the embodiments shown in the drawings. Fig. 1 is a view from the indoor side showing a state in which the auxiliary shoji of the present invention are connected, and four types of auxiliary shoji are combined. The width of each type of auxiliary shoji is smaller than 1/2 of the width of the existing window shoji, and rail engagement grooves are bored in the upper and lower end surfaces.

Further, step portions 13 that engage with the projecting edge 5 are formed on both end surfaces of the members 9 and 10 on the outdoor side, and pins 14 and 14 that lock the hooks 6 and 6 are provided on both side surfaces of the indoor side. ing. Thus, a plurality of auxiliary shoji (in the example, two shoji) as described in 1 above. A second shoji is formed on the existing screen door rail using one each of 4, 7, and 8 auxiliary shoji.

First, fit the auxiliary shoji 1 into the screen door rails 16, 16 in the same way as a regular shoji fits into the rails, drill the groove 2 and move it to the side (left), then the groove 2 and the screen door will fit together. It fits into the left side protrusion provided on the vertical stile on the same vertical plane as the window rail to prevent gaps from forming with the window frame. Next, the concave grooves 2 of the next auxiliary shoji 1' are fitted into the convex strips 3 of the auxiliary shoji 1, and the shoji 1 is fitted into the screen door rails 16, 16. And an auxiliary shoji 4 having a groove 2 that fits into the convex strip of the auxiliary shoji 1'
Then, the auxiliary shoji 7 having the groove 2 that fits into the right side protrusion of the vertical stile is inserted into the screen door rails 16, 16, respectively.

Furthermore, when the lower member 10 of the auxiliary shoji 8 is fitted into the spaces of the auxiliary shojis 4 and 7 and the hooks 6 and 6 are rotated to engage the pins 14 and 14, the outdoor side is connected to the protruding edges and bottom of the auxiliary shojis 4 and 7. Since the step portion 13 of the member 10 is engaged, the lower member 10 and both the auxiliary shojis 4 and 7 come into contact with each other without any gap. In the same manner, the upper member 9 is fitted between both the auxiliary shojis 4 and 7, and both upper and lower members 9 and 10 are fitted.
Since the second shoji is connected by the concave groove 11 and the protruding strip 12, the second shoji is formed as a whole by being completely fitted to the screen rail of the window frame, forming a double window shoji.

As mentioned above, each auxiliary shoji that makes up the proposed double window shoji is less than half the width of the existing shoji,
It is lightweight and easy to handle, and even if it is a two-panel shoji, the auxiliary shoji can be easily installed and removed from the indoor side in a space with one shoji open, and the auxiliary shoji can be installed outside. This makes it convenient to work in high places, especially on the second floor or higher.

In addition, since the auxiliary shoji 8 to be installed last engages with the protruding edges 5 of the auxiliary shoji on both sides through the step portions provided on both sides of the outdoor side, it is possible to create a shoji that fits completely without creating a gap. Furthermore, by dividing the shoji 8 into two upper and lower members and fitting the lower member first, the fitting gap can be secured and fixed, so the upper member can be easily fitted and the work will not be difficult. .
