Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate insertion of a board by equipping an insulated vessel with a plurality of electric contacts, furnishing a pin for pressure fitting in a hole formed in a printed circuit board, and providing the conducting surface of the print circuit board with an electric connection part to form high pressure connection. CONSTITUTION: On a printed circuit board 2 a vessel 1 made of insulative material is furnished so that a contacted condition is generated by at least one pin 3 to be pressure fitted in a hole 4 in a board. The connector further includes a plurality of electric contacts 7 furnished in the vessel 1, pin 3 at least one so as to generate pressure fit connection to the hole in the circuit board 2, and at least one electric connection part to generate pressure connection on the conducting surface of the circuit board 2. Thereby the resilience of the whole contact is increased, and insertion of the board having a high contact density is facilitated.
