Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) A cross member is provided on the lower surface of the rear floor to form a box cross section extending in the width direction of the vehicle body together with the rear floor, and a cross member is provided on the lower side edge of the rear floor jointly with the rear floor in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. A vehicle body in which a rear frame side forming an extending box cross section is fixed, a rear bulk side is provided on the inner side of the vehicle body of a rear wheel apron that stands on the side edge of the rear floor, and the lower end of this bulk side is fixed to the upper surface of the rear floor. In the rear structure, the rear floor is bent into a step-like shape consisting of at least an upper stage and a lower stage, and the end of the upper stage in the vehicle body width direction is connected to the lower stage via an inclined surface that faces outward from the side of the vehicle body and slopes downward. The end of the cross member, which forms a box cross section in the vehicle width direction in cooperation with the upper rear floor, comes into contact with the inclined surface of the rear floor to close the box cross section, and at the same time closes the box cross section of the rear wheel apron on the side surface of the vehicle body. A lower stage in which a rear bulk side with a U-shaped cross section is fixed to form a box cross section, a flat part and an inclined part are formed at the lower end of the rear bulk side, and a rear frame side is fixed to the lower surface of this flat part. The cross member is fixed to the rear floor, and the sloped portion is brought into contact with the sloped surface of the rear floor against which the end of the cross member is brought into contact, and the end of the cross member and the sloped portion of the rear bulk side are integrally connected via this sloped surface.
