材料は、他の記録材料に比較して現像、定着等の
煩雑な処理を施すことなく比較的短時間で記録が
得られること、騒音の発生がないこと、比較的安
価である等の利点により図書、文書などの複写は
勿論のこと、電子計算機、フアクシミリ、テレツ
クス、医療計測機等の種々の情報並びに計測機器
の記録材料、又は、駅務システムの乗車券や百貨
店、マーケツト等のPOSシステムのラベルとし
ても広く使用されている。感熱記録型剥離紙は、
表面に加熱方式により印字や画像の記録を行うこ
とができ、記録画像形成後の剥離紙を仮着されて
いた剥離台紙から剥離して、所望の固体表面に対
して接着することのできるシートを意味し、番号
札、値札、薬ビン札などの各種ラベルやレツテル
の他、ネームプレート、シール等に利用されてい
る。
