This is a write-once optical disc on which additional data can be written only once, and is a file area for storing file data set on the 2-bit optical disc 1. The file length of this file area 2 is, for example, a fixed length of 3100 sectors, and therefore a maximum of 180 file areas 2 can be set within the optical disc 1. 3 is a file name registration area in which file names (directs), options, etc. of each of the file areas 2 corresponding to each other are registered via file numbers. Since the information once recorded on the optical disc 1 cannot be rewritten, this file name registration area 3 is set on a hard disc on which information can be rewritten. Next, the operation will be explained. Since information once written on the write-once optical disc 1 cannot be changed, when registering a file, only the file data is stored in a predetermined file area 2 of the optical disc 1, and the file name (directory) that includes the possibility of modification is stored. is hard disk 4
The corresponding file name registration area 3 set above is selected based on the file number and registered there. The file can be read using the contents of the file name registration area 3 on the hard disk 4. When a file name is changed, the contents of the corresponding file name registration area 3 on the hard disk 4 are changed.

It must be carried along with the optical disc 1 and stored in the hard disk of the system that uses it, making handling complicated. Some discs have additional directories on write-once optical discs, but since the directories are changed by adding them to a separate directory area, there is a problem in that it takes time to recall files. The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a write-once optical disc for a data file system on which direct changes can be easily made and files can be called quickly.

In the figure, 1 is a write-once optical disc, and 2 is a file area set on this optical disc. Further, 5 is a file name registration area that is associated with each file area 2 via a file number, and in which the file name, options, etc. of the file area 2 in which file data is stored are registered. It is different from the conventional file name registration area 3 in that it is set. 6 is a correction for recording the changed file name (rename), modification options, etc. together with the file number when changing the file name, etc. that is set on the optical disc 1''2 and once registered in the file name registration area 5. area. Here, 180 sectors, the same number as the file area 2, are secured as the file name registration area 5, and about 200 sectors are secured as the modification area 6. 7 is a directory area formed by these file name registration area 5 and modification area 6. Next, let me explain how it works. FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram showing the transfer of data between the optical disc 1 and the main memory 8 during operation. First, file registration will be explained.
As shown in the figure, file data is already stored in file area 2 for file numbers 1 to 179, and file name (F) is stored in file area 2 for file number 180.
The file data of . A file name (F) is written into a corresponding file name registration area 9 of the main memory 8'' from an input device (not shown), and the file data is written into a file area 10 set on the main memory 8. After that, the dashed line ■ in Figure 2
As shown, this file name (F) and file data are transferred and written to the file name registration area 5 of the file number 180 and the file area 2 of the optical disk 1-. Next, direct reading will be explained. First, the contents of each file name registration area 5 on the optical disk L are read out in 180 sectors at once, and transferred to the main memory 8 at once as shown by the solid line ■ in FIG. It is stored in 9. Next, read out the correction area 6 of the optical disk 1'' one sector at a time,
Transfer to the main memory 8 as shown by the solid line ■ in Figure 2,
The file number is referenced and the corresponding file name registration area 9 is overwritten. Here, if you want to transfer the file name registration area 5 on the optical disk 1 all at once, read each sector one by one and determine whether anything is written.
This is done to shorten the processing time, since if a file name is entered, the next file is read, the processing time would be long. Next, I will explain how to change the file name. As shown in the second figure, the file name (D) of file number 4 is changed to (Z). First, in the main memory 8-1-, the file name registration area 9 whose file name is ([))
Search for and change the file name to (Z). next,
Add file number 5;4 of the file name registration area 9 to this file name (Z), send it to the optical disc 1 as shown by the dashed line ■ in FIG. 2, and write it in one of the vacant correction areas 6. . By doing this, it is possible to change the file name about 200 times, which is the same as the number of correction areas 6 as a whole. Next, reading the file will be explained. File reading is performed using the directory read out to the main memory 8-h as described above. In other words, if the file length is not fixed, the first sector of each file is recorded in the option part of the file name registration area 5 or the modification option part of the modification area 6 shown in FIG. Export the file 'Ih'j. Furthermore, if the file length is fixed, the file is read based on the product of the file length and the file number of the file. ■ In the above embodiment, the first sector of the file is recorded in the option part of the file name registration area 5 and the modification option part of the modification area 6, but the file classification code 1, keyword 1ζ, creation date [You may also record the first prize. [Effect of the Invention] As described in 2 below, according to the present invention, when changing a file name once registered in the file name registration area, the changed file name is recorded in the modification area together with the file number. With this configuration, it is possible to have a direct write-once optical disk itself, and file names can be easily changed and files can be recalled quickly. This has the advantage of being an optical disc.
