Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of detecting the defect of a bottle mouth by providing a rotary mirror which removes the image formed by unnecessary scattered light from a pair of light rays with which a bottle is irradiated from above at a specific angle with the transporting direction of the bottle in the position upward at a specific angle with mouth threads to receive the light rays. CONSTITUTION:Light sources 3 are mounted above the bottle 1 in the front and rear of the transporting direction 2 of the bottle in such a manner that the mouth and threaded part 4 of the bottle 1 are irradiated diagonally from about 45 deg.. The bottle mouth and threaded part 4 are photographed by a television camera 6 via the mirror 5 existing at about 45 deg. diagonally upward on the plane perpendicular to the transporting direction 2 inclusive of the point where the optical axes of both the light sources 3 intersect with each other. んの口のネジ部をテレビカメラで撮影し、このテレビカ
メラによる画像の前記びんのロネジ部左右の不要散乱光
による像を除去するための遮光板を前記ミラーに設け、
前記テレビカメラによる画像の前記びんのロネジ部の中
央部に欠陥検査のためのウィンドウを設けたことを特徴
