Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable facilitation of deceleration of a ship through simple constitution by providing a water resistor which is protruded downwardly from the bottom at the rear of a ship hull in linkage with a manually-operated pedal or lever. CONSTITUTION:In a small gliding boat 1 having a water jet propulsion mechanism to produce a propulsive force by pressurizing water sucked from a boat bottom and injecting the water rearwardly of a boat through a nozzle 1a, a brake pedal 2 operated by a driver is mounted to the boat. By pedalling a pedal 2 against the force of a spring 5, a plateform resistor 3 is protruded downward from a containing position, situated approximately flush with a bottom 1b at the rear of a ship hull, through a rod 4. By exerting the water pressure of a water flow directly on an under surface 3a of the resistor 3, a boat can be decelerated by means of a resistance force.

(Prior Art) Recently, water-jet propulsion type small watercraft, which is a small boat equipped with an engine and is designed to glide on water, has become widely used. However, because it is a small planing boat, it has the disadvantage that even if you suddenly return the engine throttle to slow down the boat, it will skid and will not stop immediately. - In the case of water jet propulsion, a method is used to decelerate the ship by injecting jets ejected toward the rear of the ship in the forward direction of the ship. The system was inefficient and was not suitable for ships that required agile maneuverability, such as small planing boats.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) This invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and it is possible to easily and quickly increase the speed of a ship by applying the brake device by foot or manually as necessary. To provide a water jet propulsion type small personal watercraft that can be decelerated and can be operated quickly.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention enables water to be immersed in water by causing a resistor to jump out from the bottom of the rear hull into the downward water flow in conjunction with a pedal or lever that can be easily operated by foot or hand. By increasing the resistance of the ship, or by having a forward plate protrude from the bottom of the ship into the water flowing downward, the water pressure of the water flow increases the resistance of the ship, slowing it down, and creating a braking effect.

1 indicated by the dotted line is a watercraft 71 propulsion type small planing boat, which uses a tarjet propulsion mechanism to pressurize the water sucked in from the bottom of the boat and send it from the nozzle 1a to the rear of the boat. and propels it forward by the reaction force. As shown in the figure, it can carry one or two people and can glide along the water surface at high speed.

A pedal 2 operated by a pilot is rotatably attached to the boat. The plate-shaped resistor 3 that acts as a brake is a water flow resistor that protrudes downward from the bottom of the boat at the rear of the hull, and is located at a first position where the lower surface 3a of the low antibody 3 is almost flush with the bottom 1b, and at a lower surface. 3a is rotatably attached between a second position protruding downward from the bottom 1b.

Furthermore, a rod 4 is rotatably attached between the pedal 2 and the resistor 3, so that the movement of the pedal 2 is linked to the resistor 3. Further, a spring 5 is attached to the pedal 2, which applies a spring force in a direction that always holds the resistor 3 in the first position.

If the operator operates the brake pedal 2, the resistor 3 will move against the bottom 1b according to the amount of operation of the pedal 2, as shown in FIG.
Jumps out downwards. At this time, the lower surface 3a of the resistor 3 is directly subjected to the water pressure of the water flow, and the ship can be decelerated by the resistance force.

Furthermore, when the resistor 3 receives water pressure from the water flow, the water pressure exerts a force that pushes the resistor 3 upward. When the resistor 3 is pushed up, the rear part of the boat is pushed up, and conversely, the front part of the boat is pushed down and comes into contact with the water surface, resulting in the state shown in FIG. Therefore, the water contact length 11 between the bottom of the ship and the water surface in Figure 1 becomes 12 in Figure 2, and the sailing resistance due to contact between the bottom of the ship and the water surface increases, further increasing the braking effect and rapidly increasing the speed of the ship. speed can be reduced.

The difference from the first embodiment is that in the first embodiment, a plate-shaped resistor 3 was installed so as to protrude downward from the bottom of the ship at the rear of the hull, whereas in the first example, a plate 13 that acts as a brake is attached to the bottom of the ship. I set it so that it would fly out further down.

The plate 13 is located between a first position where the lower surface 13a of the plate 13 is substantially flush with the ship's bottom 1b, and a second position where the lower surface 13a protrudes below the ship's bottom 1b and Fj, 13 curves downward. is rotatably attached.

At this time, since the lower surface 13a of the plate I3 is curved, it directly receives the water flow, which itself provides resistance to the water flow, and the water flow exerts a force that draws the plate 13 downward.

When planing, the contact length between the ship and the water surface was 11, as shown in Figure 3, but it increased to 12 as it was attracted to the water surface.
The sailing resistance of the ship increases significantly, making it possible to slow down the ship's sailing speed, resulting in a braking effect.
