Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily confirm the occurrence of a fault by the sense of hearing by ringing a buzzer when a front door is opened and informing the occurrence of the fault of a maintenance worker when there is a fault state in an automatic vending machine. CONSTITUTION:A fault detecting means 8 is provided to detect the fault in each spot of the automatic vending machine and a fault storing means 3 is provided to store the fault detected by the means 8. Then, a door open detecting means 6 is provided to detect that the front door of the automatic vending machine is opened and a reading means 1 is provided to read fault data, which are stored in the fault storing means 3, when it is detected that the door is opened. Further, operation control means 1 and 2 are provided to operate a sound generating means 7 when it is decided according to reading that there are fault data. Thus, when the maintenance worker such as a route man executes check and maintenance and the front door of the automatic vending machine is opened, in case that fault occurs in any one of each spot of the automatic vending machine, such a state is informed by the sound generating means 7. Thus, the worker can easily discriminate the fault state.

As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention includes a failure detection means for detecting failures in various parts of a vending machine, a failure storage means for storing failures detected by the failure detection means, and a front door of the vending machine. a door opening detection means for detecting the opening of the door; and a reading means for reading out the failure data stored in the failure storage means when the door opening detection means detects the opening of the door.
This is achieved by comprising an operation control means that operates the sound generation means if failure data is found by reading out the reading means.

In the sales standby state, it is determined whether or not the front door (not shown) of the vending machine is opened (Step S1). If it is opened (branch Y), the process proceeds to Step S2.
Then, it is determined whether there is a malfunction or not. If there is at least one malfunction state (branch Y), the process proceeds to step S3. In step S3, the buzzer for notifying the malfunction is turned on to indicate that the vending machine is malfunctioning. If there is no failure (branch N), skip step S3 and proceed to step S4.
Proceed to step 4. In step S4, it is determined whether or not the mode is the failure details display mode, and if it is the failure details display mode (branch Y),
Proceed to step S5. In step S5, the buzzer 7 is turned off and the process proceeds to step s6. In step S6, it is determined whether or not there is fault memory data. If there is not (branch N), the process proceeds to step S8. In step S8, the absence of a fault is displayed on one of the indicators by a code or the like, and in step S9
Proceed to. On the other hand, if it is determined in step S6 that there is a failure (branch Y), the process proceeds to step S7. Step S7
Then, display the details of the failure that has occurred on one of the displays using a code, etc., and proceed to step S9. In step S9, it is determined whether the end switch has been pressed, and if it has been pressed (branch Y), the failure is detected. End display operation.
