る露光制御手段と、複写用紙に転写された画像濃
度を検知する画像濃度検知手段とを具え、複写前
の原稿の地肌濃度及び複写用紙に転写された画像
濃度とを検出比較することにより感光体の残留電
位の増加等による画像形成の劣化を検出し、該検
出結果に基づいて次の複写工程における露光量或
は画像電極電位のバイアス量を制御することを特
