の稈身周囲の泥には植付爪の軌跡に沿つた空間が
形成されることになり、この空間から植付苗の根
の周りの水分が上方に蒸発し易すく、これによつ
て植付苗が萎れることがあり、又、植付後に水を
流し込む際に植付苗が水流に抗し切れず、植立姿
勢の悪化や苗の浮き上がりを生じることがあり、
これを改善するための土押えアームを機体に配設
することが考えられたが、この土押えアームは植
付苗と干渉しないよう植付爪の前方に植付爪と同
期して駆動されるよう配設する事が必要である為
又、冒記構成田植機の植付爪駆動機構は植付爪よ
り更に後方に位置しているのが普通である為、こ
の駆動機構から土押えアームの駆動力を取り出す
には構造が複雑であり、特に土押えアームの駆動
力をクランクアームから取り出した場合には、ク
ランクアームの揺動力が土押えアームを駆動する
ロツド等を揺動させ、植付爪を駆動するための機
構が集中した部位でこのロツド等の揺動を許容す
る空間を確保するには問題があり、更に構造が複
雑になる問題があつた。

つ、構造簡単に配備することで植付苗の植付姿勢
及び植付状態を良好に維持することに目的を有す
る。
