Abstract

PURPOSE:To send temporarily held coins to a sorted-coin storing/discharging part when necessary by collectively and temporarily holding deposited coins, and when a temporarily held coin entering command is generated, checking the amount of coins in the sorted-coin storing/discharging part and the sorts of inputted coins and sending the temporarily held coins to a collective coin box normally in accordance with the checked result. CONSTITUTION:Injected deposit coins are discriminated and counted by a discriminating part 11 and then collectively and temporarily held in a temporary holding part 31 and the prescribed deposit processing is executed by a coin processing machine based on an input command from the external. When the input command is generated from the external, the amount of coins and the sorts of the input coins are checked by the sorted-coin storing/discharging part 51 prepared as the discharging purpose in the coin processor. When there is no coin sort reduced less than the prescribed amount as the checked result of the discharging part 51 or when a coin sort is not included in inputted coins even when the coin sort concerned is reduced less than the prescribed amount, the temporarily held coins are sent to the collective coin box 76.

In such a cash dispensing machine, deposited coins are stored all at once in a coin box, and when dispensing, coins are ejected from a coin storage/dispensing section for each denomination. There is a device that replenishes coins from the aforementioned bulk money box to the denomination-specific coin storing and dispensing section when the number of coins stored in the dispensing section becomes low.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of the former device in which deposited coins are stored in a money box all at once, the time required for one transaction from coin insertion to storage during a deposit transaction is short; When the number of coins in the denomination-specific coin storage/dispensing section decreases, it is necessary to temporarily stop the deposit transaction and replenish the coins from the bulk coin box. This process is performed until the coin dispensing section is full, so it takes a considerable amount of time from the start to the completion of replenishment, and during that time, withdrawal transactions cannot be performed, causing inconvenience to customers and other users. .

In addition, in the case of the latter device in which the deposited coins are sent to the coin storage and ejection section by denomination, the deposited coins are conveyed to the coin storage and ejection section by denomination for each deposit transaction, and the coins are transported to the coin storage and ejection section by denomination. When the bank is full, the coins of that denomination must be collected as overflow coins in the overflow gold box, which takes a considerable amount of time to process one deposit, causing inconvenience to customers and other users. .

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a coin processing machine that temporarily holds input deposited coins in a batch after identification and counting in an identification unit 21, and performs predetermined deposit processing based on an external import command. In the deposit processing method, when an external import command is issued, the amount of coins in the denomination-specific coin storage/dispensing section 5l provided for withdrawal and the denomination of deposited coins are checked, and as a result of this check, the amount of coins deposited is checked. If there is no denomination for which the amount of coins in the typed coin storage/dispensing unit 5l has decreased below a predetermined amount, or if there is a denomination for which the amount of coins has decreased below a predetermined amount, there is no coin of that denomination among the deposited coins. There is a denomination in which the temporarily reserved coins are sent as they are to the bulk money box 76, and the amount of coins in the denomination-specific coin storage/dispensing section 51 has decreased to a predetermined amount or less, and the coins of that denomination are If the coins are among the deposited coins, the temporarily reserved coins are re-identified by the identification unit 21, and the coins that can be stored in the denomination-specific coin storage and dispensing unit 51 are sent to the denomination-specific coin storage and dispensing unit 51, Coins that cannot be stored in the coin storing and dispensing section 51 by denomination are fed into the coin box 76 in bulk.

As described above, in the withdrawal process, money is normally withdrawn from the denomination-specific coin storage and dispensing section 51, and if only one of the required denominations is withdrawn in the denomination-specific coin storage and dispensing section 5l. If there are less than a predetermined number of coins, the money will be withdrawn from the lump sum box 76, and at this time, among the coins dispensed from the lump sum box 76, even if the coins are of unnecessary denominations for withdrawal and can be replenished. For example, the coins are replenished in the denomination-specific coin storage/dispensing section 5l. Therefore, withdrawal of money from the lump-sum money box 76 and replenishment of coins to the denomination-specific coin storage and dispensing section 51 can be performed at the same time, and no particular time is required for the replenishment operation.

According to the present invention, at the time of deposit processing, the amount of coins in the coin storage/dispensing section for each denomination is checked and the denomination of the deposited coins is checked, and depending on the result of this check, temporarily reserved coins are transferred to a bulk gold box or to coins according to denomination. Since the coins are selectively sent to the storage/dispensing section, it is possible to shorten the deposit processing time by sending the temporarily reserved coins to the coin box all at once, and when the number of coins in the coin storage/dispensing section for each denomination decreases, temporarily suspended coins are sent to the coin storage/dispensing section. can be sent to the coin storing and dispensing section for each denomination, eliminating the need to stop depositing and dispensing transactions of the device to replenish the coins.
