Abstract

PURPOSE:To laminate easily and arbitrarily a resin layer having a sharp unevenness and durability on a base film, by a method wherein resin is cured through irradiation of ultraviolet rays or heating by making use of release paper or a release film having a desired form. CONSTITUTION:Curable resin is applied to release paper or a release film having a desired form, upon which a base film is superposed, resin is cured through application of ultraviolet rays to the base film or heating the same and releases from a form. Polyethylene terephthalate film is especially suitable as the base film and in the case where the resin is cured through application of the ultraviolet rays to the resin, an ultraviolet ray transmitting film is used. Unsaturated polyether resin, vinyl ester resin are mentioned as a curable resin. In case of ultraviolet curing, benzyl or benzoyl is added further as a photopolymerization initiator and sensitizer is added at need. Then in case of heat curing, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide or cyclohexanone peroxide is added further as a thermally free-radical polymerization catalyst and an accelerator is added at need.

As a method for manufacturing a film having irregularities, a method of embossing a base film or a method of engraving is known. However, the embossing method does not produce sharp irregularities, and when used as a molding film, it tends to lose its shape. Furthermore, the etching method uses chemicals, which complicates the process and reduces productivity. Concave and convex films made by these conventional methods do not meet expectations in terms of undulation effect, durability, etc. Furthermore, a method of irradiating with an electron beam (for example, JP-A-60-2
5749 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 60-25750), however, in electron beam irradiation, it is difficult to control the size of the irradiation phase to appropriately control the curing reaction, and It has the disadvantage of deteriorating the physical properties of the film. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] As a result of intensive research to improve the above drawbacks, the present inventors have found that by curing the resin by ultraviolet irradiation or heating, sharp irregularities can be easily and easily created on the base film. I discovered that it can be given arbitrarily. This led to the present invention.

Polyethylene terephthalate film is particularly suitable, and when the resin is cured by ultraviolet irradiation, it is necessary to use an ultraviolet-transparent film. Examples of curable resins include unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, various acrylate resins, and epoxy resins. In the case of ultraviolet curing, additional photopolymerization initiators such as penzyl, benzoin, benzoin ethyl ether, henzophenone, acetophenone,
Penzyl dimedyl ketal, penzoyl benzoate, etc. may be added to the mixture, and if necessary, a sensitizer may be added. In the case of thermal curing, a thermal radical polymerization catalyst such as methyl ethyl chloride peroxide, cyclohexanone peroxide, penzoyl peroxide, dicumyl peroxide, L-butyl perbenzoate, etc. is added, and an accelerator is added as necessary. May be added. The amount of the photopolymerization initiator and thermal radical polymerization catalyst added, the amount of the curable resin composition applied, the method of application, etc. are not particularly limited, and may be adjusted as appropriate depending on the purpose of use. Translated. Note that fillers, colorants, and the like may be further added to the curable resin composition as necessary.

As a releasable paper or film having a desired shape,
Embossed release paper with a coating layer of polypropylene, ethylene propylene copolymer, polyvinyl alcohol, etc. formed on paper, embossed film with release properties, especially polyethylene terephthalate film, etc., and can be used in the form of an endless belt or released. It can also be reused by winding it onto a rear roll. A conventional ultraviolet irradiation device can be used for curing the resin by ultraviolet irradiation, and curing of the resin by heating can be performed by hot air or infrared irradiation. [Action] By ultraviolet irradiation or heating. By simultaneously curing the curable resin and strongly adhering it to the base film, and then peeling it off from the mold, a durable resin layer with sharp irregularities can be easily laminated on the base film. can do. Furthermore, by using releasable paper or film having a desired shape, a wide variety of unevenness can be easily imparted, and a film having continuous unevenness can be manufactured. The present invention will be explained below with reference to Examples. Example 1 100ffi of ester acrylate resin (Aroninox M-6100, manufactured by Toagosei Kagaku Co., Ltd.) was applied to a release paper (manufactured by Asahi Roll Co., Ltd., AR-85) that runs continuously at 2 m/win.
A curable resin composition to which 4 ffl parts of Henzil dimethyl kecool was added was applied to the li part. A polyethylene terephthalate film was placed on top of that, and a high-pressure mercury lamp (
After irradiating the film with ultraviolet light (80 w/cm) for 5 seconds, the film was peeled from the mold, and a laminated film with rough irregularities was obtained.
