線加締部a3とより成り、導体加締部a2において電
線Bの端末絶縁部を皮剥ぎした導体b1を加締固定
すると共に、ゴム栓付電線加締部a3において電線
Bの端末絶縁部b2を、この端末絶縁部b2に挿着さ
れたゴユ栓C′を介して加締固定されている。電線
Bに挿着されるゴム栓C′は例えば第2図に斜視図
で示されるように前方に小径部C1、後方に大径
部C2が連設されると共に、大径部C2の外周に環
状リブC3が周設されて構成され、端子A′のゴム
栓付電線加締部a3における加締はゴム栓C′の小径

な曲面となつているため、かかる構造の加締部a3
で被覆電線Bに挿着したゴム栓C′の小径部C1
加締たときは、その部分の断面は第3図の断面図
に示したような状態となる。即ち、加締部a3の対
向する加締片先端部a3″はゴム栓C′の小径部C1
加締圧着されその周面に密接係合するが、加締部
a3の基底部a3′に当接するゴム栓の面C2′は平滑な
曲面の基底部a3′に圧接されて平滑な曲面となり、
ゴム栓C′が何らかの外部要因により矢線L方向に
引張られた場合、或は電線Bが矢線L′方向(ゴム
栓の面C2′と反対側方向)に屈曲された場合、基
底部a3′に当接するゴム栓面C2′は比較的容易に滑
動してゴム栓C′は図示破線で示すような状態に歪
み、やがてゴム栓面C2′が端子加締部a3の基底部
a3′から外れて抜け、遂には加締部a3からも外れ
てゴム栓C′全体が端子加締部a3から脱着し、前述

り、前記ゴム栓付電線加締部基底部には端子軸方
向と直角方向にスリツトにより切り起こされかつ
該基底部の曲面に沿うように橋架された突起を内
設し、該突起を前記ゴム栓の環状リブに係合させ
る如く電線加締部により加締固定させ、該突起を
該ゴム栓に曲面状に食い込ませたことを特徴とす
るものであるから、ゴム栓付電線加締部内におい
て突起を切り起しによつて比較的に大きく形成す
ることが可能であると共に切り起しによる尖鋭端
をゴム栓の環状リブに係合させて位置決めを行つ
てこれを確実に係止することができ、スリツトに
より切り起こされた突起は加締圧力に対応してゴ
ム栓外周部に喰い込み可能であるので、該加締部
内におけるゴム栓部分の径の変化に対応してゴム
栓の端子への固定が確実に行われ、この点からも
ゴム栓の後方抜けを防止するのに効果がある。
