Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the length of a glow starter socket by providing a pair of terminals for lead connection at the side of a body within the entire length of a glow starter mounting direction, and providing the housing part of a noise limiting capacitor between the aforesaid terminals. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 equipped with a glow starter is made cylindrical with one end thereof open and internally fitted with a brace and an insulator having a central piece not shown herein. In other words, a housing part 3 for storing a noise limiting capacitor 2 is integrally formed with the closed end side of the body 1 in such a way as to have box shape open at the rear end. Also, an opposite side orthogonal with the housing part 3 is fitted with a pair of terminal parts 6, terminals 5 connected to the brace in the body 1 or the central piece is provided at the terminal parts 6 and lead wires 4 are soldered thereto.
