Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate characteristic value by using a member which has elasticity to a force except in the direction of rotary torque to be measured as the probe of a force detector provided between a bearing housing and a fixation part. CONSTITUTION:The bearing testing device consists of a shaft 1 which places a load on a bearing 3 to be tested by rotation or swinging, a support bearing 2 which supports its one end, a bearing base 9 which holds the bearing 2 and is fixed to the fixation part 7, the bearing housing 6a which holds and fixes the plural bearings 3 to be tested while the bearings 3 are fitted in the other end of the shaft 1, a spring 4 and a set screw 10 for pressing a ring-shaped bearing housing 6b for placing a radial load on the bearings 3, the force detector 5 provided between the housing 6a and fixation part 7, and the flexible member 8 which has elasticity except in a tangential direction contacting the external diameter of the external shaft of the bearing 3 and the direction parallel to the end surface of an outer race. This member 8 is fixed directly to the projecting part 11 of the housing 6a, so forces except in the rotary torque direction are absorbed and accurate torque can be measured.

にノイズが出たり、力検出器が破損したりする問題があ
る。また、力検出器を接触して用いた場合、引張りの方
向は測定することが出来ない。この引張り力を測定する
ために、予圧をかけたときに、直接取り付けたときと同
様の問題が起きる。

外径に接する接線方向とかつ前記外輪の端面と平行な方
向とに平行な方向に前記力検出器より突出するとともに
前記突出する方向以外の方向では可撓性をもつ棒状の部
材とを備え構成される。
