Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep conductor core wires at a constant interval even when an insulating outer film and a shield conductor are peeled and easily press them to a pressure terminal such as a connector by extending an insulating inner film between many conductor core wires, and holding the conductor core wires at a uniform interval with it. CONSTITUTION:Many conductor core wires 11-16 arranged at a uniform interval in parallel with each other in a plane shape and an insulating inner film 17 which is extended between them and holds these many conductor core wires 11-16 at a uniform interval and covers the periphery of other conductor core wires 12-16 except the conductor core wire 11 at one end among these many conductor core wires 11-16 are provided. A shield conductor 18 covering the periphery and an insulating outer film 19 covering this periphery are provided. Even when the insulating outer film 19 and the shield conductor are peeled, the intervals between the conductor core wires are kept constant, and the pressure connection to a connector is facilitated.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, as a means of connecting a signal transmission wire and a connector, due to the demand for ease of connection, a pressure contact terminal is provided in the connector, and the wire is press-fitted into the opening of the pressure contact terminal, thereby connecting the wire and the connector. Means is used to electrically connect the wires and to hold the wires using the pressure contact terminals. Furthermore, conventionally, in order to prevent noise from entering during signal transmission, shielded cables in which signal transmission wires are shielded have been used. When press-fitting the electric wire inside the shielded cable to the insulation displacement terminal of the connector, the shield around the wire is removed before the wire is press-fitted, so one of the wires inside the shielded cable is electrically connected to the surrounding shield. By press-fitting the wire into the insulation displacement terminal, the shield of the cable and the shield of the connector are electrically integrated to prevent noise from entering.

, 4 are covered from above with a shielding conductive foil 5, and further covered with an insulating jacket 6 on the outside. To press each core wire 2, 2' of this cable 1 to the connector,
The insulating outer sheath 6 and shielding conductive foil 5 are removed from the part of the cable 1 to be press-contacted (not necessarily the end), leaving only the inner sheath 3.4 and the core wires 2, 2', and in this state the press-contact terminal 7 of the connector is removed. The opening of? a (Fig. 4), the inner jacket 3.4
is split, and the core wire 2.2' is electrically connected to the pressure contact terminal 7. In addition, the cable shield (conductive foil for shielding 5
) is connected to the connector via the conductive inner sheath 4 and the core wire 2'.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Usually, the pressure contact terminals 7 of the connector are arranged so as to have the same pitch as the pitch of the core wires 2, 2'. on the other hand,
As mentioned above, the core wires 2 and 2' are connected to the pressure contact terminal 7 of the connector.
In order to make pressure contact with the wire, it is necessary to peel off the insulating jacket 6 and the shielding conductive foil 5. Since the cable 1 is usually flexible for convenience of handling, if the inner sheaths 3 and 4 are exposed, the inner sheath 3 and 4 and the core wires 2 and 2' alone have more flexibility. There is a problem in that it is difficult to maintain a constant spacing between the core wires 2, 2', and therefore it is difficult to press them even if the pressure contact terminals 7 are arranged to match the spacing of the core wires 2.degree. 2'.

(Function) In the shielded cable of the present invention, the conductor core wire at one end is not covered with an insulating inner sheath and is in contact with the shielding conductor. The body core wire and the shielding conductor are electrically connected. In addition, since the insulating inner sheath extends between all conductor core wires, including the conductor core wires that are electrically connected to this shielding conductor, even if the insulating outer sheath and shielding conductor are peeled off. The distance between the conductor core wires is kept constant. Note that the conductor core wire at one end that is electrically connected to the shielding conductor is not covered with the insulating inner sheath, but the other conductor core wires are held at regular intervals by the insulating inner sheath.
The conductor core wires at one end are also maintained at sufficiently constant intervals.
