【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はワークに附着したバリ及び湯口の除去
をプレスで行なうトリミング型に関するものであ
る。

いて、その幅が大きく、かつ厚みも大きい湯口の
除去に適用し1回のトリムで完全に除去しようと
すると深折れが発生し不良となることやワークに
歪が生じ、矯正する必要がでる。とくにワークの
円弧部に湯口をもつものは、深折れ不良が発生し
易くなる。

前述した方法では連続的にトリムした際、V字
形刃及び階段状の刃の底部に除去された切片が刃
の溝間にはさまれた状態となり、この切片の詰ま
りにより刃の形状を維持することが困難となる。
従つてワーク湯口部の仕上精度が低下し、研磨に
よる手直しが必要となりコストが増大することや
深折れが発生し易い状態になるという欠点をも
つ。この刃に詰まつた切片を取り除くには、機械
的に除去しなければならず、詰まる箇所がトリミ
ング下型内部であることから設備上の制約を受け
るとともに、効率の低下をひきおこす。また階段
上の刃においては突起部10の摩耗が激しく、湯
口部仕上精度が低下する欠点をもつ。従つて頻繁
な刃の交替が必要となり、効率の低下をまねく。

しにくく、かつトリムを低速で行なうためのワー
ク湯口部と下型との接触面積を小さくする方法と
して予備トリム用の刃と仕上トリム用の刃の2枚
の刃をトリミング下型にワークのプレス方向に組
合せた。第1段階として予備トリム用の刃で湯口
の一部を除去する。次の第2段階として仕上トリ
ム用の刃で湯口を完全に除去する。この方法によ
り1回のトリムでワーク湯口部の仕上精度が向上
し深折れ不良は発生しなくなる。

され、さらにワーク1をY方向に押すことにより
湯口2の残存部4が仕上トリム用の刃6で除去さ
れる。この時仕上トリム用の刃6で除去された切
片が仕上トリム用の刃6の上に残り、次にワーク
をトリムした際に発生する切片によつて先に残存
していた切片をZ方向におし、これを繰り返すこ
とによつて切片は切片自力排出溝7を通り、排出
口8より排出される。この切片自力排出溝7の幅
l1はワーク湯口2の最大断面における幅l2に対し
切片の詰まりを避けるためl1>l2とした。
