Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an operator making an operator call from being kept awaiting for a required time or above by generating a standby signal through the detection of an operator call signal and sending the standby signal to an opposite party till the operator of its own equipment replies with the standby signal. CONSTITUTION:When an operator call signal from a transmission side is detected by an operator call signal detection circuit 7 during the reception of a picture signal, a control circuit 8 alarms a buzzer or the like to inform the detection to the operator and starts the monitoring of a timer. Simultaneously, the circuit 8 gives an instruction to a standby signal transmission circuit 10, thereby sending the standby signal to the sender side through a mixer circuit 9 and a hybrid circuit 4. リ装置に対し伝送し、これを受信したファクシミリ装置
はブザー等を鳴動せしめてオペレータを呼び出す所謂オ
ペレータコール機能を持ったファクシミリ装置が提案さ
れている。

は、タイムオーバーしてすでに受信側回線が断状態とな
っているのかが分からず、従って送信側オペレータの判
断によって待機の時間を決める事となり、必要以上に待
機するとか、あるいは、受信側オペレータが電話機(3

信側オペレータが電話機(3)をフックアップする(受
信側オペレータが応答する)か、あるいは、制御回路(
8)がブザー等を鳴動させてから一定時間経過したと判
定するまで送出し続けられる。従って、送信側オペレー
タは待機信号の継続している間だけ待機していれば良く
、既提案のオペレータコール機能を持ったファクシミリ
装置の如く、いつまで待機していれば良いのかが分から
ないという事はない。従って、必要以上に待機するとか
