Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the bedding cover which facilitates the extermination of the mite generated in the bedding by consisting the cover of a fabric which is liable to absorb sunlight energy. CONSTITUTION:The fabric of the bedding over to be used is preferably a black fabric which is liable to absorb the sunlight energy and further, this cloth is preferably constituted of a black hydrophobic woven fabric. Further, the bedding cover contg. a heat ray absorbent in the fabric has the high efficiency of mite extermination. The temp. in the cover rises and the mites are killed and exterminated by the heat of this time when the bedding is put into this cover and is exposed to sunlight. The temp. rises even on the surface of this bedding cover which is not directly irradiated with the sunlight and, therefore, the mites can be exterminated simply by drying the bedding under the sunlight. The dead mites are removed easily from the bedding by tapping the bedding or oscillating the same or by using an ordinary vacuum cleaner.

るダニ類の駆除を容易にする布団カバーに関するもので
ある。

(従来の技術及びその課題) 従来よりぜん息の原因の1つとして、家庭内のダニの死
骸が知られている。特に最近の日本家屋は密閉性が高く
なっており、また、温調設備が整ってきたため、夏冬に
関係なくダニの繁殖が盛んである。特に、布団の中は温
度が夜間でも高く、ダニの格好の温床になっている。こ
のダニ及びダニの死骸がぜん息や皮膚病を引き起こす大
きな要因の1つになっており、特に小児ぜん息の発作で
夜間就寝でき難くなるのは、このダニによって誘発され
るためである。布団内のダニは繁殖し続け、−枚の布団
の中に生息するダニの数は3万匹以上にもなっているこ
とが確認され、ぜん息や皮膚病を悪化させる要因となっ
ている。しかし、布団中のダニを駆除する方法として殺
虫剤、虫干し等が施されているが殆ど本質的な除去効果
がない。また、強力な電気掃除機で幾度も吸引除去する
方法がとられているがこの方法も抜本的な効果は期待で
きないのが実状である。

カバーであり、(3)前記(1)または(2)記載の布
に熱線吸収剤を含むダニ駆除用布団カバーである。

反対側の面でも温度は約62°Cに達していた。布団カ
バーをよく叩き、布団カバー内に溜まったダニの死骸を
調べたところ、約15,000程度であった。布団内の
ダニは殆ど死滅したものと思われる。

防止や抑制に多大な効果を発揮するものである。
