付勢力を可変可能な機構を併設するといつた複雑
な構造にならざるを得ず、或いは、こすり付ける
方式であるため前記付勢力が強過ぎる場合には作
溝内に沈下した播籾や肥料が覆土とともに移動し
て分布状態が偏在する欠点があり、又、前記培土
式では前記したように土を掻き集める方式故に、
覆土が確実に行なわれにくく、覆土が十分でない
間隙部分から播籾や肥料が田面に張れた水ととも
に流出して、施肥・直播作業が確実に行なえない
欠点があつた。
