    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 排気ガスを浄化処理する触媒担体が内蔵された
    コンバータ本体と、そのコンバータ本体の外周囲
    を覆うようにして配置された保護カバーとを備え
    てなり、かつ、該保護カバーが複数の略同一形状
    のカバー部材を接合することにより形成されてな
    る触媒コンバータにおいて、該コンバータ本体の
    両端部を下方に向けて傾斜させてなることを特徴
    とする触媒コンバータ。
