Scum skimmers in sedimentation basins are generally opened and closed manually, and this opening and closing operation is performed regularly by workers. This has the disadvantage that it requires too much effort on the part of the workers. In recent years, with the trend toward automation in treatment plants, there has been a demand for scum skimmers that can be easily retrofitted to existing equipment. In order to solve this problem, a method has been proposed in which the opening and closing operations are performed by electric or hydraulic operation separate from the drive source of the sludge scraper, but this method is unsuitable from the viewpoint of energy saving.

In order to achieve the above purpose, this invention uses a water collection gutter,
a flexible weir attached to the upper part of the water collection gutter and provided at least on the upstream or downstream side of the scum skimmer; a push rod connected to the upper part of the flexible weir and moving the flexible weir up and down; It consists of a lever that moves the push rod up and down by the driving force obtained by the movement of the flight when it comes into contact with the flight, thereby automatically using the power of the sludge scraper without relying on any other power source. The flexible weir is opened and closed to remove floating scum.

Flight 2 for the sludge scraper is driven by this chain.
In step 3, the scum floating on the water surface is collected toward the pond end and other scum removal positions. Of course, during this scum scraping, the flight is in the floating position. Of the total number of flights 23, the operating piece 3 is provided protruding from one or several of them.

A flight without an operating piece protruding from the flight can be brought into contact with the lever, and push rods 8, 8 are provided at the end of the lever 4 via a shaft 7.

In this embodiment, the flexible weir is provided on both the upstream and downstream sides of the water collection gutter, but it is also possible to provide it on only one side.
These flexible weirs 10, 10 are connected to the above-mentioned push rods 8, 8 via a shaft, and are set at a position slightly higher than the normal operating water level, so that when the flexible weirs 10, 10 are bent downward, they are submerged under the water surface. death,
Sewage is made to flow into the water collection gutter 11.

The flexible weirs 10, 10 are lifted up through the dams, and the inflow of floating scum is prevented. In this way, the scum floating on the upstream and downstream sides of the scum skimmer flows into the water collection gutter and is removed every time the lever of the flight striker is lifted. Different embodiments will be explained based on the drawings of FIGS. 3 to 5. This example is a water level tracking type scum skimmer that responds to water level fluctuations.
In addition to the above-described configuration, a fixed weir 12 that covers the upstream and downstream sides of the water collection gutter 11 is fixedly installed on the water collection gutter.

That is, if the floating weir 13 is attached to a float with the distance between the upper part of the floating weir 13 and the water surface set to H, floating scum at a distance of H will always flow into the fixed weir 12 even if the water level fluctuates.

スカムスキマーの開閉を行わせることができる。 On the other hand, with a flexible weir, the scum skimmer is closed and the water level is raised above the liquid level (the water level fluctuates, but it is always raised just above the liquid level, and the water level fluctuation is usually 100 to 200 mm, and at the lowest water level, it is only 100 to 200 mm + α) On the other hand, the flexible weir is pushed down below the top of the floating weir at the lowest water level when the scum skimmer is open.
Then, the water in the area surrounded by the fixed weir 12 and the floating weir 13 is first drained into the water collection gutter 11, and then the water outside the area is brought into the area using the gap H on the floating weir 13, accompanied by scum. flows into. As described above, by moving the flexible weir up and down, the water in the area surrounded by the floating weir and fixed weir is discharged or stopped, and the floating weir is always set at a predetermined water level to scum. The skimmer can be opened and closed.

According to the present invention, since the lever is swung by the drive of the flight, no separate power is required for the scum skimmer, and scum floating on the upstream and downstream sides can be simultaneously removed.
