【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、テープレコーダなどの磁気テープ装
置において、テープの位置を表示するテープ位置

はテープカセツトを交換した時は、テープの巻量
とテープカウンタ表示との間には何らの関連もな
くなつてしまつた。

て、両リール台の回転数をそれぞれ検出して演算
させることによりテープ位置を表示する様にした
装置も開発されたが、これは、テープリールハブ
径、テープ長さのバラツキ等の為に大略のテープ
位置しか表示出来ない欠点があつた。

一般にビデオテープレコーダにおいては、カセ
ツト内から磁気テープを引出して、回転磁気ヘツ
ドを内蔵せるシリンダに添接走行させ、上記回転
磁気ヘツドと磁気テープとの間で映像信号を授受
させているが、テープの早送り、又は巻もどし時
は上記シリンダに磁気テープを巻付けたまま磁気
テープを高速移送すると、磁気ヘツドが摩耗した
り、磁気テープのエツジが傷んだりするので、カ
セツト内に磁気テープを収納した状態で高速移送
しているものが多い。

み出す。磁気テープ16にあらかじめテープ位置
信号を例えば映像信号の垂直帰線期間にコード化
して記録しておくことにより、前記回転磁気ヘツ
ド18は上記記録されたテープ位置信号を読み出
すことが出来る。読み出したテープ位置信号は増
幅器20,デコーダ22を通して表示手段14を
駆動出来る信号に変換された後、前述の切換手段
12に供給される。

の位置が表示手段14に表示される。

ープ位置信号を読み出して表示する様に構成して
いるので正確なテープ位置を表示することが出来
るものである。

し、上記切換手段はデコーダの出力がある時は優
先的にデコーダの出力を表示手段に供給する様に
構成されていることを特徴とするテープ位置表示
装置。
