Abstract

PURPOSE:To install a packing at a desired position without taking much time and with rapidity and high accuracy by placing continuously, in a string state, a packing material with fluidity and adhesion to a mated object on a desired position of the packing to harden it by a change with the passage of time. CONSTITUTION:A discharging port 16a in a nozzle 16 is positioned at a desired position 8 of packing installation. Next, a packing material 17 with fluidity and adhesion to a mated object is discharged to the desired position 8 of pack ing installation from the discharging port 16a, through a mixing device 15 from feeders 13, 14, and a table 12 is controlled so as to move according to the shape of the above desired position through the transferring device where the shape of the desired position 8 of packing installation is stored in advance to move the desired position 8 of packing installation along the discharging port 16a in the nozzle 16. This places the packing material 17 continuously on the desired position 8 of packing installation to harden it by a change with the passage of time. It is thus possible to install the packing without taking much time and with rapidity.

This conventional method has the problem that it takes a lot of time and effort to cut the rubber sheet to fit the width of the intended location and to paste the cut packing there. Furthermore, when the cut packing is pasted thereon, the position of the cutting may be shifted, causing the packing to protrude from the intended location, or causing breaks in the packing.

When the packing material in a fluid state is placed in the form of a string at a place where the packing is planned to be provided, the width of the packing material can easily be made to match the width of the planned place. Further, the packing material in the above-mentioned state can be placed there in a shape that exactly matches the planned location by mechanical relative movement of the nozzle for discharging the packing material with respect to the scheduled location.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the discharge port 16a of the nozzle 16 is positioned at an arbitrary location in the packing location 8. Next, in that state, the supply bag 213.
The packing material supplied from 14 is passed through the mixing device 15 to the nozzle 16, and the packing material 17 in a state of fluidity and adhesion to other substances is discharged from the discharge port 16a to the place 8 where the packing is planned to be provided. By means of a moving device that stores the shape of the planned location 8 for packing,
The table 12 is controlled to move according to the shape of the above-mentioned planned location 8, and the planned packing location 8 is moved to the discharge port 1 of the nozzle 16.

As mentioned above, the packing material 17 is planned to be provided at the location 8.
When placed on the surface, the packing material has fluidity and adhesion to other objects, so it adapts to the surface of the place 8 where the packing is planned to be provided and adheres thereto. In addition, if there is an anchor hole 9 in the place 8 where the packing is planned to be provided, the water also flows into the inside of the anchor hole 9. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2.4, a protruding piece 18 is formed that fits snugly into the anchor hole 9, and the state of fixation of the packing to the mating surface 7 becomes more reliable.

If the diameter of the above-mentioned anchor hole 9 is a large proportion to the width of the packing material 17 to be placed on the packing place 8, and the amount of packing material flowing into the anchor hole 9 is large, the discharge By temporarily increasing the discharge amount when the outlet 16a passes through the anchor hole 9, or by temporarily decreasing the moving speed of the table 12, the height of the upper surface of the packing material 17 can be adjusted to the height of the anchor hole 9. It is preferable to make it uniform both in a certain part and in other parts.

Once the packing material 17 is placed over the entire length of the packing area 8 as described above, it is hardened by deterioration over time. When a thermosetting resin is used as the packing material, the means for hardening the material through deterioration over time includes heating for a predetermined period of time. When a thermoplastic resin is used as the packing material, the packing material thus placed may be left to cool naturally. Further, when a material that hardens by mixing two liquids is used as the packing material, it may be left to harden or may be heated in combination to accelerate hardening.

Next, FIG. 7 shows an example in which the joining surface 7 is provided with a packing 17' having a large thickness. When providing the packing 17' with such a large thickness, a large amount of packing material is flowed toward the anchor hole 9, and the edge of the hole opposite to the mating surface 7 of the anchor hole 9 is placed at the tip of the protruding piece 18. It is preferable to form a retaining piece 19 that engages with. In this way, the effect of preventing the packing 17' from falling off from the joining surface 7 becomes extremely large.

Next, FIG. 11 shows examples of various storage cabinets installed indoors as another example of two members having gaskets on their mating surfaces. When the two storage cabinets 24, 25 are installed closely side by side, if water gets into the gap between the mating surfaces 24a and 25a, a problem arises in that the area will rust without your knowledge. In such a case, in one of the cabinets 24, a packing 17' is provided on the peripheral edge of the surface 24a that joins with the other cabinet 25 by the method described above, so that the cabinet 25 can be attached to the other cabinet 24. When the two cabinets are placed in close contact with each other, it is possible to prevent water from entering between the joint surfaces of both cabinets.

[Claims] 1. In a method of providing packing on the joining surfaces of two members, a packing material that is fluid and adhesive to other objects is provided on either of the joining surfaces. Continuously place the string-like packing material on the planned location using a liquid injection machine, and then harden the packing material over time to make it elastic. How to be prepared. 2. In a method of providing packing on the joining surfaces of two members, an anchor hole is bored in one of the joining surfaces of the packing material, which is fluid and adhesive to other objects. A liquid injection machine is used to continuously place the string-like material at the location where the packing is planned, with a portion of it flowing into the anchor hole, and then the packing material is hardened over time to improve its elasticity. A method of providing a packing on the joint surfaces of two members that lead to a certain packing. 3. In a method of providing packing on the joining surfaces of two members, a packing material that is fluid and adhesive to other objects is provided on one of the joining surfaces. A liquid injection machine is used to continuously place the packing material in the form of a string onto the area where the packing is planned to be provided, which is curved to avoid the through holes. A method of providing a packing on the joint surfaces of two members that lead to a certain packing.
