の摩擦の影響で急速に同じフィルムの伸張力で延びるこ
とができない。 そこで、フィルムを強く伸張させて9強固に且つ経済的
に包装を行おうとすると、第5図の位置でフィルムが破
断しやすくなる。 経済的にというのは、今日のフィルムでは300%位延
ばすことが出来、且つこのように大きく伸延したほうが
、フィルムの破断強度も大きくなる。 このような現象を補い、フィルムを大きく延伸させ包装
するために、今日までに基本的に2つの手段が提供され
ている。 その1つは、第6図に示すようにアッキュムレータ20
で急速に引っ張られるフィルムを緩衝しようというもの
である。 図示のようにロール21と22が回転可能に揺動片23
に設けられ、揺動片23はばね24の手段などで、軸2
5を中心として時計回転方向のトルクが付与されている
。 フィルムは図示のようにロール21.22の間をくぐら
せて包装物13に巻付けられる。 フィルムが急激な引っ張りを受けると揺動片23が反時
計方向に回転し、フィルムを緩衝する。 このような手段は「特開昭56−84907包装方法お
よびその装置」のFIG2の90アツキユムレータとし
て示されている。 他の手段は前記「特開昭56−64907包装方法およ
びその装置」、「特許第1266739号特公昭59−
40682包装方法および装置」「特許第136348
2号特公昭61−27254包装方法及び装置」、「特
開昭83−22・317多段予備伸張包装装置及び該包
装装置」を用いた包装方法等において示されているもの
で、基本的には第7図におけるように、ロール26.2

も余計に延伸させてもフィルムの破断がなく、フィルム

装置を設ける場合にも本発明は従来の該装置が設けられ
た包装機よりもよりよくフィルムを被包装荷物33に巻
き付けることができる。
