The winding start end of this wire becomes the take-out end when the wire is taken out from the spool, and when the wire is near the end, the supply of welding wire is stopped, the spool is replaced with a new spool, and the supply of welding wire is restarted. Do the task you want to start. Since this replacement work takes time and wire loss, various proposals have been made to eliminate this spool replacement work and continuously take out the wire (Utility Model Application No. 57-56657, Utility Model Application No. 60-9876, etc.).
is being done. However, in the conventional techniques related to these proposals, the work of removing the supplied empty spool from the spool support shaft is troublesome, and the structure of the support shaft is complicated.

溶接ワイヤ用スプールにある。(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention eliminates the drawbacks of the prior art described above. The gist of the present invention is a welding wire spool consisting of a winding drum and flanges at both ends for connecting the wire ends of adjacent spools and continuously taking out the wire. It is made up of a plurality of divided pieces that can be attached to and detached from the shaft from the circumferential direction and can fall off naturally from the spool support shaft, and a concave and convex portion for positioning is provided at the mutually matching part of the divided pieces, so that the divided pieces can be aligned with each other. A hole is provided at the base of the flange or in the winding drum, and a hole is provided in the outer circumference of the flange for the end of the wire to be inserted after the wire is inserted into the hole. A spool for welding wire is characterized in that it is provided with a connecting groove to which a connecting tool for synchronous rotation is connected.

FIG. 1 shows a specific example of the welding wire spool of the present invention, and the spool 1 consists of a winding drum 3 and flanges 2, 2 provided at both ends of the winding drum 3. In the present invention, the spool 1 is composed of a plurality of divided pieces (in this example, divided into two) 11 and 12, and the divided pieces 11,
12 are combined to form a spool shape. Figure 2 a, b, (b
is a sectional view taken along the line C-C in a). The divided piece 11 is connected to the winding drum piece 31 and the flange pieces 21, 21 at both ends of the winding drum piece 31, and the divided piece 12 is connected to the winding drum piece 32, and the flange pieces 21, 21 at both ends of the winding drum piece 31. Flange pieces 22, 2 at both ends of the body piece 32
2, and the joint part 7 of these divided pieces 11 and 12
and 8 are brought together to form a spool shape as shown in FIG. In this example, the division pieces 11 and 12 are combined by recesses 71 and protrusions 8 provided in the mating parts 7 and 8.
Positioning is performed by fitting 1 and 2.

る。 As will be described later, the spool 1 maintains its normal spool shape from the time when the wire is wound around the spool until the time when the wire is taken out from the spool and becomes an empty spool.
The spool is separated into 1 and 12 parts and detached from the spool support shaft, and for this purpose, the spool 1 is composed of a plurality of divided pieces. Therefore, the fitting between the concave portions 71 and the convex portions 81 of the mating portions 7 and 8 is merely for positioning, and is in a loosely fitted state.

In this example, the holes are long along the winding drum. The hole for passing through the wire winding start end may be provided in the flange or may be provided in the winding drum. or,
In FIG. 2b, reference numeral 15 indicates an L-shaped recess provided in the winding drum piece 32 for engaging with a coupling member 14, which will be described later.

Insert into hole 4 at the base of flange 2 with extra length,
After inserting and locking the end portion into the small hole 6 on the outer periphery of the flange, the welding wire W is wound around the winding drum 3 in the usual manner, and finally, the winding end We is inserted and locked into the hole 5 of the flange. In addition, if a groove is formed on the outer surface of the flange 2 to hold the wire winding start end Ws, and the wire winding start end Ws is held in this groove, the wire winding operation and the storage of the spool after winding are easy. , which may interfere with work during transportation, etc. This is a preferred embodiment because it is less likely to cause problems such as scratches on the wire.

As shown in the figure, the spool 1-A to be used first and the spool 1-B to be used next are coaxially arranged side by side on the support shaft 9, and the wire winding start end Ws of the spool 1-A and the spool 1-B End of wire winding
With We connected, take out the winding end We of the wire from spool 1-A and start welding. Of course, the wire ends of spool 1-A and spool 1-B can be connected not only at the start of welding but also at any appropriate time when welding is stopped. To connect this wire end, connect the wire winding start end Ws of spool 1-A to flange 2.
The wire winding start end Ws and the wire winding end We of the spool 1-B are connected by butt welding or the like.

Let's do it. That is, the winding trunk piece 32 of the spool 1 has an L-shaped recess 15.
(see FIG. 2b), insert the arms 16 on both sides of the connector 14 into the recess 15 of the spool 1-A and the recess (not shown) of the spool 1-B, and then The spools 1-A and 1-B are engaged with each other by an expanding member such as a spring, thereby allowing the spools 1-A and 1-B to rotate in synchronism.

作業を行わなくてもよいから極めて簡便である。 In this way, spools 1-A and 1-B rotate synchronously, and the welding wire in spool 1-A gradually decreases, and when it finally becomes an empty spool, spool 1-A can no longer maintain its spool shape. , the spool 1-A has its divided pieces 11 and 12.
It separates into two parts and naturally falls off from the support shaft 9. At this time, the welding wire is taken out smoothly from the winding start end Ws of the spool 1-A to the winding end We of the spool 1-B to the welding wire of the spool 1-B. As described above, the welding wire spool of the present invention is extremely simple because it is not necessary to axially pull out and remove the empty spool from the support shaft 9 after the wire has been taken out, as in the conventional case.

In this example, pin grooves 17, 17 are provided on the inner surfaces of the winding drums of the spools 1-A, 1-B over the entire length in the axial direction, and pins 18 are inserted into the pin grooves 17, 17. 1-B are rotated at the same time. Note that it is convenient if the pin 18 is structured to be separable at its center, since the pin in the empty spool can be removed after the empty spool falls off.
