Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent slippage from occurring during printing by providing a flat mount paper base with a recessed part in which a card to be printed can be detachably fitted, and providing on the bottom surface of the recessed part a pressure sensitive adhesive layer covered by a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A mount paper base 1 comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 4 provided on one side of a flexible main body 3 of the base, and a flexible frame form sheet 6 provided with openings 5 conforming to recessed parts 2 in area and shape, the sheet 6 fixed on the adhesive layer 4 in a laminate form. The adhesive layer 4 exposed at bottom parts of the recessed parts 2 is covered by a release paper 7 serving as a protective layer. The size and shape of the recessed parts 2 are set according to the size of a card 8 to be printed. The release papers 7 are removed, and cards 8 are adhered to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer 4 at the bottom parts of the recessed parts 2. Thus, the card 8 can be fixed firmly to the mount paper base 1, and slippage during printing can be prevented from occurring.

Conventional technology For example, in order to print on telephone cards,
There is an idea as shown in Japanese Patent No.-49935. This idea is to hold a flexible soft card in a fitted state using a concave fitting part formed on a mount substrate, and to print by setting this mount substrate together with a flexible soft card in an offset printing machine. This is what I did.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention When the above-mentioned mount substrate holding a card such as a telephone card is set in a thermal printer, the mount substrate moves due to friction with the paper feed roller, and the flexible RR card is moved directly or by the ink sheet. It receives resistance from a print head such as a thermal head through etc. 2.

As a result, the flexible soft card is likely to be displaced relative to the slim mount substrate whose movement n is determined by the feed speed of the paper feed roller.

In particular, when printing in color, an ink sheet that changes color at regular length intervals is used, printing is performed while the ink sheet and mount substrate are fed in the forward direction, and the ink sheet and mount substrate are stopped and flexible. The ink sheet is separated from the flexible soft card, the flexible soft card is moved in the opposite direction together with the mount substrate to face the next colored part of the ink sheet, and the flexible soft card, the mount substrate and the ink sheet are separated again. The printing operation is repeated in the process of moving the backing board in the forward direction, but the ink sheet is peeled off from the flexible soft card each time the backing board is moved in the reverse direction. It is pulled and shifts from the mount board. As a result, the printing position of the flexible soft card relative to the print head changes little by little, causing color misregistration in color printing. Furthermore, when printing with a thermal printer that has a drum-shaped platen, the edge of the flexible card may float off the backing board depending on the radius of the platen around which the backing board is wrapped and the stiffness of the flexible soft card. becomes easier,
Printing may become impossible.

Action When the protective layer in the recess formed on the mount substrate is peeled off, the card is affixed to the adhesive layer, and the mount substrate is set in the printer, external forces such as resistance from the ink sheet or print head may act on the card. Also, the card can be firmly fixed to the mount substrate, thereby preventing the printing position from shifting.

Embodiment A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to J and Q in FIGS. 1 to 4. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the mount substrate, and Fig. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a part thereof. This mount substrate 1 has an adhesive layer 4 formed on one surface of a flexible substrate main body 3, and is a flexible rod-shaped material in which an opening 5 corresponding to the area and shape of the curved recess 2 is formed. Plate 6 with adhesive layer 4
It is formed by stacking and fixing it on top of. Also,
The adhesive layer 4 exposed at the bottom of the recess 2 is covered with a release paper 7 that is a protective layer. The size and shape of these recesses 2 are set according to the size of the card 8 to be printed.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a part of the mount substrate 1 showing the state in an enlarged manner, and the surface of the frame plate 6 and the surface of the card 8 are aligned. Then, the mount substrate l is wound around the platen IO as shown in FIG. Pass the sheet 13 through. This ink sheet 13 is fed in one direction by a sheet feeding device (not shown). Then, while feeding the ink sheet 13 in the forward direction, the platen 10 is rotated to print while the mount substrate 1 is being fed in the forward direction, and the ink sheet 13 and the mount substrate l are stopped and the ink sheet 13 is peeled off from the card 8. and platen 10
is stopped and the card 8 is moved in the opposite direction together with the mount substrate l to face the next colored part of the ink sheet 13,
The printing operation is repeated while moving the card 8, mount substrate 1, and ink sheet 13 in the forward direction again.

Color printing is thereby performed. In this case, each time the mount substrate l is sent in the opposite direction, the cards 8 receive external force due to the peeling off of the ink sheet 13, and the cards 8 receive resistance from the thermal head 12. Not only is it fitted into the recess 2, but it is also fixed by the adhesive layer 4, so it does not move relative to the mount substrate 1. Thereby, it is possible to prevent misalignment of the card 8 with respect to the thermal head 12 and to prevent color shift. Further, even if the radius of the platen 10 is small, the card 8 can be brought into close contact with the mount substrate l. Furthermore, since the mount substrate 1 can hold a plurality of cards 8, it is possible to print on a plurality of cards 8 at a time.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. The same parts as in the previous embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted. FIG. 5 is an enlarged sectional view of a part of the mount substrate 1, and FIG. 6 is an enlarged sectional view of a part of the mount substrate, showing the state in which the card 8 is attached. In this embodiment, the size of the recess 2 is made smaller than the size of the card 8, and a portion 9 without the adhesive layer 4 is formed outside the periphery of the recess 2.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the central part of the card 8 is fixed with the adhesive layer 4, and the peripheral edge of the card 8 is held between the rod-like plate 6 and the main board 3 at the part outside the peripheral edge of the recess 2. Can be held. As a result, if the card 8 is strong and the radius of the platen 10 is small, the platen 1
However, in this embodiment, due to the holding force of the adhesive layer 4 and the pressing force of the frame plate 6 against the peripheral edge of the card 8, the edge of the card 8 in the circumferential direction tends to float off the mount substrate l. It is possible to more reliably prevent the card 8 from floating from the board 1.

Effects of the Invention The present invention is as described in (1).The protective layer in the recess formed on the mount substrate was peeled off, the card was pasted on the adhesive layer, and the mount substrate was set in the printer. Even if external forces such as resistance from the ink sheet or print head act on the card, the card can be firmly fixed to the mount substrate, thereby preventing the printing position from shifting. When printing, it is possible to prevent color shift, and even if the radius of curvature of the mount substrate is small, it is possible to prevent the card from lifting from the mount substrate, and furthermore, it is easy to set the card on the mount substrate. It has the effect of obtaining.
