Abstract

PURPOSE:To collect, pile up and store even the sheets which tend to warp in a downstream direction completely by arranging a guide member which is supported so that it can move against a press member and guides sheets to collect and pile them up. CONSTITUTION:When sheets 1 are fed into a storing portion 10a one by one, for example, the sheets 1 are taken in an arrow direction through a receiving slit 75a and are made to slide on a curved surface 121 at the lower end portion of a guide member 12a to guide them in the upstream direction. At this time, each of the sheets 1 is forcibly bent into an approximate W-shape by an impeller 8a and rollers 71a, 72a to take a firm stand for each of the next processing. Next, the sheets 1 are taken in a pile-up sheet case 13a temporarily one by one. When a given number of sheets are stored in the sheet pile-up case 13a, the above taking-in operation stops, and a shutter 14a opens horizontally to drop the sheets 1 which are piled up in the sheet pile-up case 13a on a receiving plate 15a in a storage case 16a. Then a press plate 11a is lowered downwards, so that the sheets 1 are put between the receiving plate 15a and a press plate 11a to make them come in contact with each other. The guide member 12a are retracted upwards, thus providing closer contact.

The paper sheets 1 placed on the mounting table 2 are taken in one by one by the take-in section 3, and after the type of the paper sheets 1 is identified by the identification section 4, it is controlled by the control section 9 and the photosensor 6 takes in the paper sheets 1 one by one. The number of sheets is counted for each type. Next, the paper sheets 1 pass through receiving roller sections 7a, 7b, and 7c corresponding to the type of paper sheets 1, and are re-stacked and pressed in the respective storage sections 10a, 1ob, and 10c. (Function) Paper sheets are kited one by one by the kite member and enter the storage section. When a predetermined number of paper sheets are accumulated in the storage section, the pressing member descends to press the paper sheets and increase the degree of adhesion between the paper sheets. Even if curled paper sheets enter the storage section, they are guided by the guide member, so that they can be reliably accumulated downward and stored.

As shown in FIG. 1, when paper sheets 1 are placed in a mixed state on a mounting table 2 and an operation switch (not shown) is pressed, the paper sheets 1 are taken in one by one by the taking-in section 3. Next, the taken-in paper sheet 1 passes through a conveyance path 5, and the type of paper sheet 1 is identified by an identification section 4. Then, the sensors 7f1 to 6 are controlled by the control section 9 to reduce the number of sheets 1 for each type. The paper sheets 1 are sorted into transport paths 5a, 5b, and 5c by gates that are opened and closed by solenoids (not shown) corresponding to the respective types, controlled by the control section 9, and stored in respective storage sections 10a, 10b.

Subsequently, when the paper sheets 1 are taken into the temporary storage 13a one by one, the paper sheets 1 are accumulated on the shutter 148 as shown in FIG. 7(a). The press plate 11a is located at the top. When a predetermined number of sheets are accumulated in the temporary accumulation storage 13a, the rotational driving force is transmitted by the gear 73a, and the rotation of the rollers 71a, 72a and the separate wheel 8a, which were rotating in the arrow direction shown in FIG. 2, is stopped and the temporary accumulation is completed. Next, as shown in FIG. 7(C), the lever support plate 26 (see FIG. 3) is lowered downward by the vertical movement mechanism (not shown), and the paper sheets 1 are pressed in the stacking direction. Ru. The receiving plate 1.5a is supported by a ratchet mechanism (not shown) and cannot be moved upward unless the ratchet lever is released.Furthermore, the receiving plate 15a is supported by a spring (not shown) to resist the force of pushing upward. is recieving. Therefore, the receiving plate 15a does not move downward unless it receives a load of a predetermined value or more. As a result, the paper sheets 1 are sandwiched between the receiving plate 15a and the pressing plate 11a and receive an optimal load, thereby increasing the degree of adhesion between the paper sheets 1. Also, at this time, the aforementioned rollers 71a and 72a.
