Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は筐体架構造の電子機器に関し、その発
熱部の放熱の改良に係る。

電気・通信・電子機器は各種構成ユニツトから
なり、それぞれのユニツトが筐体架に所定に取付
けられる。ユニツトのうち電源ユニツト、送信ユ
ニツト等は相当の発熱があり、この熱を効率よく
放散させることが必要である。このため従来は第
1図に示したように、筐体架1に実装された発熱
ユニツト2に設けられる放熱器3を前面(或いは
後面)に露出させ、この放熱器3から輻射並びに
自然対流で空気中に放熱していた。従つて放熱効
率は必ずしも良好であるとはいえず、とくに図の
如く下方で放熱させると上部のユニツトの温度を
上昇させるといつた不都合を生じる。

本考案は上述の問題点に鑑み、放熱部の熱を一
括してエアダクトで筐体架の上部へ誘導し、放熱
排気するようにするものであり、このエアダクト
を筐体架のユニツトを実装しない不使用スペース
を用いることでそのために特別なスペースを要し
ないようにしたことにある。かかる本考案の電子
機器筐体の実施例につき、図面を参照して以下具
体的に説明する。

を要部斜視図に示す。図において10は筐体架で
あり、11は左側面、12は右側面、13は底
面、14は上面である。このように縦長の長方形
枠体の内部空間に所定に電子機器ユニツトが装着
される。また左側面11はA端面に示されるよう
に断面がほぼコ形の溝形であり、右側面12もほ
ぼ同様である。これは両部材とも一種の柱パネル
部材として筐体架の強度部材を構成しているもの
であり、第1図の同様部材もまた1′,1′に示す
ように同様である。この溝形の凹部空間は従来配
線ケーブル等の通路程度に利用されているに過ぎ
ず、強度上必要なスペースである。そこで本考案
の左側面11においては内面に板を張り枠部とな
し、この部分をエアダクトとして上下を開口して
いる。そうして、このエアダクトの下方は発熱ユ
ニツト20の一側面の放熱器21がエアダクト下
端開口内に挿入し得るようになつており、発熱ユ
ニツト20は図示しない手段で固定される。

加熱されて空気はエアダクト内を上昇する。上昇
気流の速度は温度差の大きさとエアダクトの煙突
効果に伴なう長さによつて定まり、高さの高い程
効率より排気される。排気は上端からC矢印のよ
うに排出される。
