Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute molding and to improve an electroacoustic transducing efficiency by providing a thin plate part to fit a picture, a photograph, etc., and an electro-vibration transducer to radiate a vibration in one axial direction at the rear surface side of the thin plate part. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate part 3 is fitted to a vibration radiating piece 5 of an electro-vibration transducer 6, it is made into a diaphragm, the picture photograph, etc., are arbitrarily fitted at the front surface side of thew diaphragm, or the peripheral part of the diaphragm is supported by an outer housing 1. Consequently, the vibration in one axial direction generated by the electro- vibration converter 6 can operate the thin plate part 3, whose peripheral part is supported by the outer housing, as the diaphragm. Thus, the panel type loudspeaker can be made thin, and simultaneously, the electro-acoustic transducing efficiency can be increased.

A thin elastic body 2 is provided on the front and rear end surfaces of the outer peripheral end of the thin flat plate portion 21.
2 is installed. This thin elastic body 22 is installed in the protruding part 18b of the front outer casing 1B and in the protruding part 19b of the rear outer casing 19, and connects the thin flat plate part 21 and the film surface 2 of a painting or photograph to the groove. 23 so as to make elastic contact.

An electric-vibration converter 6 having a vibration radiation contact piece 5 is attached to the central rear side of the thin flat plate portion 21 via a mounting screw 4. This electric-vibration converter 6 is the same as that used in the first embodiment, and this uniaxial vibration allows the thin flat plate portion 21 to generate sound in response to an electric signal. Note that the same effect can be obtained even if the thin flat plate portion 21 is attached within the groove portion 23 without using the thin elastic body 22.

(2) Paintings, photographs, etc. can be arbitrarily attached to the front surface, and are sandwiched between the front outer casing and the rear outer casing either directly on the front and rear end surfaces of the outer peripheral edge or via a thin elastic body, and vibrating on the rear surface. This is a panel type speaker characterized by having a thin flat plate part provided with a connection part for receiving vibrations, and an electric-vibration converter connected to the thin flat plate part and radiating vibrations in the l-axis direction. Depending on the configuration, it has the feature of being able to cope with vibrations caused by large inputs.

The panel type speakers in (1) and (2) above are electric
The vibration output in the uniaxial direction of the vibration transducer can be efficiently transmitted to the thin flat plate part, and the thin flat plate part can be attached with a film surface of any painting or photograph to function as a panel board. It has the advantage of having a wide range of uses, not only for consumer use as an interior product that allows you to enjoy sound from any picture, but also for commercial use as a ``talking panel'' at exhibitions and the like.

In addition, the acoustic characteristics can be changed arbitrarily by controlling the weight of the electric-vibration converter itself, the stiffness of the suspension that supports the vibration system, and the material and hardness of the thin flat plate (panel board). Since it is possible,
By setting it in a well-balanced state, you can obtain more efficient acoustic characteristics.
