的に接触するように上記外装金属ケースの開口部
内に配置し、上記外装金属ケースの開口部を内側
に向けてかしめてその端縁を上記第2の電極板に
機械的かつ電気的に接合してなる電気二重層コン
デンサにおいて、 上記電気絶縁板には、上記第1の電極板のリー
ド端子の板厚よりも実質的に幅が狭く、同リード
端子が所定の摩擦力をもつて圧入嵌合されるリー
ド端子挿通穴が形成されていて、上記リード端子
はその摩擦力にて上記電気絶縁板に保持されるこ
とを特徴とする電気二重層コンデンサ。 (2) リード端子挿通穴は、上記リード端子挿通
方向に沿つて狭まる漏斗状の側壁を有している請
