本発明は画像の読み取り装置に関し、特にファクシミリ

本発明の線密度可変画像読み取り装置は、原稿をライン

波数を制御情報により変えることのできるパルス発生回
路と、原稿の読み取り範囲及び線密度を複数箇所指定で
きる操作盤及びキースイッチと、操作盤及びキースイッ
チからの情報を入力し、指定読み取り範囲のパルス数及
び周波数を算出してその範囲の線密度を変えて読み取り
指定範囲の座標及び線密度の座標及び線密度の情報とと
もに読み取った画信号を送出するといった一連の動作を
制御するマイクロコンピュータ及び周辺回路からなる制

する操作盤とから成り、前記制御回路は、前記操作盤か
らの情報に従い副走査方向の線密度を任意かつ複数の副
走査区間において変更する機能を有することを特徴とす
