As described in , it has already been done to stop a lighting device from emitting light using a light emission control signal, or to make it emit light in synchronization with a vertical synchronization signal of a TV system. However, although these conventional methods have yielded good results in terms of obtaining good images, they are not sufficient to reduce the power consumption of lighting devices.

By setting the pulse width to emit light, you can use not only the light from the photographic lighting device, but also the light from general indoor lighting or natural light, especially at long shutter speeds. This has a great power saving effect when taking pictures. At the same time, since the photographing illumination device is operated only for the necessary time and with the necessary brightness, the effect of power saving is significant in this respect as well.

The photographing device 1 sends a signal synchronized with repeated photographing (a in Fig. 2, which becomes a vertical synchronization signal in a TV system), a photographing time (shutter speed) signal (b in the same figure), and a received light amount signal (a) in the TV system. C) in the same figure is output. The lighting power source 2 receives these signals a, b, and c,

Ru. Note that for lamps that have a time delay between lamp input and light emission, it is best to allow that time in advance before emitting light.
