Abstract

PURPOSE:To save power for an illuminator, to miniaturize a portable power source and to reduce its weight by synchronizing the lighting time and lighting period of the illuminator for image pickup with an image pickup device and controlling a lamp input to an appropriate value. CONSTITUTION:The photographing illuminator for image pickup is composed of the image pickup device 1, the illuminating power source 2 and a lamp 3. Signals (a) synchronous with image pickup are repeatedly outputted form the image pickup device 1. Moreover, an image pickup time (shutter speed) signal (b) and a received light quantity light signal (c) are outputted. Receiving these signals (a), (b) and (c), the illuminating power source 2 makes the lamp 3 emit light as shown by a waveform (d). The light emitting time is synchronous with the photographing frequency, and a brightly lighting time and the light emitting amount are controlled by the received light quantity signal determined by peripheral brightness, a diaphragm and a shutter speed, while a shutter is opened. ことができ、特に、長いシャッタ速度で撮影するときに
は省電力の効果が大きい。また同時に、必要となる時間
のみ、かつ、必要となる明るさで撮影用照明装置を動作
させることになるから、この点でも省電力化の効果が大
きい。

灯すると共に、撮影時間の間明るく発光する様にパルス
幅を定めたことを特徴とする撮影用照明装置。 2、上記撮影用照明装置は、上記撮影装置からの受光信
号によりランプ電力を調節することを特徴とする特許請
求の範囲第1項に記載した撮影用照明装置。
