継手において、 一方の排気管にはその管端部に朝顔状に拡径さ
れた球面部と該球面部に連なる円筒部が形成され
ており、該円筒部にはその端部外周面に少なくと
も2個のナツトが固定されており、他方の排気管
には前記排気管側に管端部を残して環状フランジ
部が形成されており、該管端部には内面に円孔と
外面に部分凸球面部と該部分凸球面部の大径部側
に平坦部を備えたシール体が該円孔を管端部外周
面に嵌合させ、部分凸球面部を前記球面部の内面
凹球面部に摺接させ、平坦部を環状フランジ部に
当接させて配置されており、該円筒部の開口部側
には該他方の排気管の外径より大きな内径の貫通
孔を備えたバネ受け部材が該ナツトに螺合するボ
ルトによつて固着されており、該排気管の環状フ
ランジ部とバネ受け部材との間にはコイルばねが
配置されていることを特徴とする自動車用排気管
継手。 (2) 下流側排気管と上流側排気管とそれらの間
に配置されるシール体とからなる自動車用排気管
継手において、 一方の排気管にはその管端部に朝顔状に拡径さ
れた球面部と該球面部に連なる円筒部が形成され
ており、該円筒部にはその端部外周面に少なくと
も2個のボルトがネジ部を該円筒部の開口部側に
突出させて固定されており、他方の排気管には前
記排気管側に管端部を残して環状フランジ部が形
成されており、該管端部には内面に円孔と外面に
部分凸球面部と該部分凸球面部の大径部側に平坦
部を備えたシール体が該円孔を管端部外周面に嵌
合させ、部分凸球面部を前記球面部の内面凹球面
部に摺接させ、平坦部を環状フランジ部に当接さ
せて配置されており、該円筒部の開口部側には該
他方の排気管の外径より大きな内径の貫通孔を備
えたバネ受け部材が該ボルトのネジ部に螺合する
ナツトによつて固着されており、該排気管の環状
フランジ部とバネ受け部材との間にはコイルばね
が配置されていることを特徴とする自動車用排気
管継手。
