じ6にねじ合わされるめねじ9が設けられるとともに頂
壁10中夫に他方の継手部材4を挿通させる孔11があ
けられている袋ナット12とからなる管継手において、
ガスケット5を所定の位置に保つように保持するリテー
ナ14を備えており、リテーナ14はガスケット5の一
側面にそわされる円環状本体19を有し、本体19の外
周縁をその円周方向に2等分する位置に継手部材4の端
部外面を挾みつける一対の支持突縁20,21が対向状
に設けられるとともに、同外周縁の2等分された一方の
側にのみガスケット受け22が設けられていることを特
