とを一体鋳造してなる液冷式エンジンであつて、 前記シリンダブロツクの外壁の一側面に開口す
るように前記シリンダの軸線に略直交する方向に
型抜きしてなるキヤビテイーと、該キヤビテイー
の開放面を閉鎖する蓋板とにより前記冷却液ジヤ
ケツトが郭成されることを特徴とする液冷式エン
ジン。 (2) 前記シリンダの軸線が水平方向に延在する
と共に、前記冷却液ジヤケツトにおける前記シリ
ンダの上方及び側方に隣接する部分が、前記シリ
ンダの上方へ向けて抜くようにされた金型にて形
成されることを特徴とする第1請求項に記載の液
冷式エンジン。 (3) 前記冷却液が当該エンジンを潤滑するため
の潤滑油からなると共に、前記潤滑油の一部を前
記シリンダヘツドの動弁室へと導くための通路が
、前記シリンダの外壁上面に形成されたリブによ

却液ジヤケツトの底部に前記収容室に連通する油
