    格子縞による光量変化を電気信号に変換する光学
    的センサを備えた可動部とで構成され、 該可動部は前記光学的センサが出力する電気信
    号を光信号に変換して送信する送信手段を備え、 前記固定部は送信手段からの光信号を受信して
    電気信号に復元し、前記スケールと光学的センサ
    との相対変位量を検出すべく処理する受信手段を
    備えることを特徴とする、 リニアスケール。
