Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 コンタクトガラス上に載置された原稿のサイズ
を自動的に検出する機能を備えた画像形成装置に
おいて、 原稿押圧板の原稿当接面を感光体の分光波長域
の最大感度近傍で分光反射率が最大となる色に着
色し、該色に対する分光反射率が最小となる波長
域にピークを有する光センサを複数個、各原稿サ
イズの横方向に対応して原稿載置台下面に配置す
るとともに、原稿縦方向には一対の受・発光素子
を夫々配設して光学系移動部材を前記複数の受光
素子に原稿からの反射光が伝達される範囲内にお
いてのみ空スキヤンさせることによって原稿のサ
イズを判定したことをを特徴とする原稿サイズ検
出装置。
