対し両側から交互にリード線が接続され、一方側
のリード線には駆動回路が接続され、他方側のリ
ード線には上記発熱体を発熱させるための電力を
供給するコモンラインが接続されたサーマルヘツ
ドにおいて、 上記コモンラインは、所定間隔で切り欠きが形
成された複数の区分が形成されたフレキシブルケ
ーブルの内部導体として形成され、かつ、上記フ
レキシブルケーブルの当該区分のおのおのは、導
体からなるとともに上記サーマルヘツドの膨張率
と略等しい膨張率材料から形成された裏打ち基板
に固着されており、さらに、上記それぞれの裏打
ち基板はサーマルヘツドのグランド線に接続し、
接地導体として作用し、かつ、上記フレキシブル
ケーブルの内部導体は対応するサーマルヘツドの
上記他方側のリード線に結合されているとともに
上記サーマルヘツドの電源に接続されてなるサー
