Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high performance miniature motor by employing a rear earth Fe-B series permanent magnet applied with polymer film in the miniature motor thereby reducing the air gap. CONSTITUTION:A rear earth Fe-B series permanent magnet 1 is applied with acid-resistant polyester film as thin as 1-40mum and adhered to the yoke 2 of a frame 3, thus constituting a stator. A rotor 4 mounted on a rotary shaft 9 is born rotatably by a bearing 10. The polymer film is applied by placing the permanent magnet 1 in a polymer film bag then evacuating the bag or by mounting the polymer film on the magnet then thermally fusing the polymer film. By such arrangement, a high performance miniature motor having small air gap can be manufactured.
