If irregularities caused by the above-mentioned shrinkage phenomenon appear on the surface of the molded article, especially on the visible surface during use, not only will the value of the molded article be significantly reduced, but it will also cause the molded article to be rejected for use.

Embodiments will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 illustrates an artificial stone molded product 1 manufactured by the molding method of the present invention, and this artificial stone molded product 1 has an upper mold 3 as shown in FIG. It is formed by a casting mold 2 consisting of a lower mold 4 and having a molding part 5 between both molds.

The upper mold 3 of the casting mold is provided with a molding wall portion 6 that forms the back side B of the molded product, and the lower mold 4 is provided with a molding wall portion 7 that forms the front side A of the molded product,
The space between the two molded walls 6 and 7 is a molded part 5 that forms the entire molded product.

The above-mentioned molding raw material is made by adding acrylic resin syrup as a binder to an inorganic filler such as one or two of these, sometimes a mixture of two or more of them, such as finely powdered calcium silicate, cowsium carbonate, and aluminum hydroxide. This is a mixed solution obtained by adding organic peroxides such as benzoyl peroxide, lauroyl peroxide, azobisisobutyronitrile, etc. and thoroughly kneading the mixture.

After the above-mentioned molding raw material is injected into the molding recess 5a of the lower mold 4, the upper mold 3 is set as shown in the figure, and in this state it is heated under pressure to gel and polymerize and harden.

If this is done, a shrinkage phenomenon will inevitably occur due to the fact that acrylic resin syrup is added as a binder to the molding raw material, but as mentioned above, the molded wall forming the back side B of the artificial stone molded product Since the polyester film 8 with good mold releasability is pasted on the part 6, the shrinkage that occurs at the time of polymerization and hardening after gelation of the molding raw material is caused by the shrinkage occurring at the molding wall part 6 where the polyester film 8 is present, that is, the back side B of the molded product. occurs concentratedly in

The reason for this is that the releasability of the molded product is greater on the side of the molded wall 6 to which the polyester film 8 is attached than on the other side of the molded wall 7, and the shrinkage action is concentrated on this side.

According to the casting method of the present invention, the occurrence of unevenness caused by shrinkage during polymerization and curing after gelation of the acrylic resin syrup used as a binder for inorganic fillers, etc., can be avoided on the invisible surface (back side ) and not at all on the visible surface (surface A), so there is no generation of defective products as in the conventional case, and the molding yield is significantly improved.

In the above embodiment, a polyester film was used as the film 8 having good mold releasability, but the same effect can be obtained by using a poval or saran film in addition to the polyester film.
