光源とレンズ系の間に挿入して投影表示を行なう
小型液晶表示装置であり、板状のハウジングと、
このハウジングを略二体に分け、その一方に収納
された液晶パネルと、他方に収納された外部信号
を取り入れて前記液晶パネルを駆動する制御回路
とから構成され、液晶パネル収納部に温度を検出
するための検出素子を設け、該検出素子の出力に
基づいて、前記制御回路が前記液晶パネルの表示
特性を表示するための信号を前記液晶パネルへ出
