収穫に適用すると、深根性作物の根部のまわりの
土を押し固めて、その作物の根部が地中に固く保
持される状態となつてしまうのは、地中深くに伸
長している深根性作物の根部に対応させて、逆ハ
字状に対向する一対の犂体を、少し深いところに
位置させるようにすることから、それら犂体によ
り、左右から抱え込まれて持ち上げられるように
なる土の動きが、下層の土にだけに限定されて上
層の土にまでは及ばず、そのため、深根性作物の
根部のまわりに向けて左右の両側から斜め上方に
せり上げられるようになる左右の犂体の上面側の
土が、上層の土により上から押えられるようにな
つて、深根性作物の根部の下半側のまわりに押し
固められることによつて生じていることが判つて

の土まで上方に動いて、地表に盛り上つてくるよ
うになり、深根性作物の掘り取りが楽に行なえる

Since the deep-rooted crop W is loosened from the soil so that it can be easily pulled out of the soil, the soil around the roots of the deep-rooted crop can be removed by moving only the underlying soil. Deep-rooted crops no longer need to be compacted into the soil, so they can function satisfactorily even when pulled by a relatively low-horsepower tractor. This eliminates the need to backfill the trench remaining after harvesting, which was required with the conventional method using a trench excavator, and also eliminates the need to refill the trench remaining after harvesting, which was required with the conventional method using a trench excavator. The problem of grooves forming on one side has been eliminated.
Moreover, it becomes possible to perform harvesting work only on desired ridges.

り拡く刃部50を具備しその刃部50の後方に前
後に長い誘導面5aが連続する直板状に形成した
せり上げ板5,5を、栽培されている深根性作物
Wの根部の左右の巾より幾分広い間隔をもつて左
右に一対に対向し、かつ、正面視において、前記
誘導面5a,5aが、前述の逆ハ字状に対向する
一対の支持板4,4の対向側の壁面4a,4aに
連続して逆ハ字状に対向し、側面視において後方
に向い次第に上昇する姿勢に装設せしめたことを
特徴とする深根性作物の収穫機。1.
