ーニング剤により前記像担持体の表面をクリーニ
ングするものにおいて、 前記クリーニングローラに対向する位置であつ
て前記像担持体の裏面側に磁極を設けたことを特
徴とするクリーニング装置。 (2) 前記像担持体裏面側の磁極は、前記クリー
ニングローラの中心と該像担持体の中心とを結ぶ
線より、該像担持体の回転方向の上流側に設けら
れることを特徴とする請求項１に記載のクリーニ
