Previously, in order to prevent pine blight damage, pine tree beetles were killed by injecting insecticides into pine trees.
It is troublesome as it is necessary to inject insecticide into many parts many times, and furthermore, it is difficult to completely kill insects because there are an infinite number of insecticides. For this reason, the current situation is to cut down and burn pine trees in order to prevent further damage from pine blight. Therefore, the present invention is designed to protect pine trees by electrically killing pine tree insects.

In particular, since the pine beetle is parasitic in humid areas, a relatively weak current is sufficient.

A direct current of several tens of amperes is applied. As a result, while the current flows from the tree through the trunk and branches to ground, it also flows to the pine beetle inside, causing electrocution. It has been found that the current required to kill pine woodworms is inversely proportional to the pine wood resistance to the 0.8th power, and as the surrounding resistance increases, it is easier for the current to pass through the body of the pine woodworm. It seems to flow in a concentrated manner. Therefore, several tens of amperes per 10 meters of tree height is appropriate.
