Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the comfortable living on the sea for a long period by connecting a float with the outer peripheral part of a spherical hollow main floating body so as to surround the main floating body and partitioning the inside of the main floating body into the upper and lower rooms and arranging the living facilities and living mechanical equipment in each room. CONSTITUTION:A spherical floating housing unit is constituted of a spherical hollow main floating body 1, float 2 which is separated from the outer peripheral part of the main floating body 1 and surrounds said main floating body 1, and a connecting member 13 for connecting these bodies 1 and 2. The inside of the main floating body 1 is partitioned vertically by a floor member 4, and the living facilities 5 are arranged in the upper part, and the living mechanical equipment 6 is arranged in the lower part. In the living facilities 5, an operating room 5a, windows 9, solar battery 10, elevation ladder 8, and a hatch 7 are installed. Further, the main floating body 1 is transferred by operating a propulsion unit installed in the machine, propeller 11 installed outside the machine, and a rudder 12, from the inside of the operating room 5a. Therefore, several persons can live comfortably for a long period on the sea.
