Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent inaccurate conveyance of sheets to constantly maintain a fixed feed amount of the sheets by detecting an actual feed amount of the sheet by detection of the position of a stepping motor, stopping conveyance of the sheet when feed of the sheet is inaccurate, and continuing to convey after the inaccurate conveyance of the sheets is corrected. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 1 outputs signals for commanding the feed operation of sheets to be done to a stepping motor actuating circuit 2 and a comparison circuit 5. The circuit 2 then drives the stepping motor 3 by an angle corresponding to a feed amount of sheets by a signal inputted from the control unit 1.
