Abstract

Further the engaging part of inner end side of the spoke 2 formed in a straight form is engaged with a retaining hole 17, while the engaging part is also arranged to be in opposition to the rubber damper 9. Moreover, a nipple 18 is screwed to the engaging part of the outer end side of the spoke 2, while the nipple 18 is engaged with the rim 1.

ルのネジによって引っ張るようにしていた。(実開昭5
9−37101号公報参照) しかし、スポーク係止部の支持のために剛性の大きなフ
ランジや突片部を特別に設けることは、重量増加を招く
ばかりか、生産コストを上昇する要因になっていた。ま
た、上述のようにスポーク係止部を大きく屈折させると
、その屈折部に応力が集中するため、スポークの強度が
弱くなるという欠点があった。このような強度上の問題
は、上記のように大きな屈折部を設けず、わずかな曲げ
だけにした所謂ストレートスポークにすることによって
解消することができたが、反対に屈折が小さいために確
実な固定が難しくなるという別の問題を生じていた。
