せた操作筒所では、シフトレバーに設けられたデ
イテントピンにデイテント解除動作を与えた後に
シフト操作を行なう形式の自動変速機用シフトレ
バーのデイテント装置において、 前記シフトレバーがノブ側レバーと変速機側レ
バーとに分割され、かつノブ側レバーが変速機側
レバーに対し前記シフト操作方向とほぼ直交する
方向のセレクト操作可能に結合され、しかもこの
ノブ側レバーのセレクト動作に連動して前記デイ
テントピンにデイテント解除動作を与える解除機
構を備え、また前記操作案内用の開口部は前記デ
イテント機能をもたせた操作筒所においてのみ前
記ノブ側レバーのセレクト動作可能な形状に設定
された自動変速機用シフトレバーのデイテント装
